At Princeton Bone and Joint, we treat a wide variety of sports-related injuries with both operative and nonoperative techniques. Many of our sports procedures involve arthroscopic techniques that allow us to address injuries of the shoulder, elbow, hip and knee in a minimally invasive way. Our goal is always to work closely with our patients to restore their function, alleviate pain, and get them back to performing the activities that they love.
Shoulder
Common shoulder conditions that we see and manage in our office include partial and full-thickness rotator cuff tears, shoulder instability caused by labrum tears of the shoulder, biceps tendinitis, and impingement syndrome. Shoulder pain can occur after an injury or can have a gradual onset. In our office, we perform comprehensive exams and imaging studies to give you a diagnosis, and we are able to help address your pain through physical therapy, injections, and surgery when indicated.
Knee
Knee pain can occur after an acute injury or can occur in the absence of any obvious trauma. Common conditions that we see and manage in our office include meniscus tears, anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injuries, patellar dislocations or maltracking problems, and cartilage injuries.
Hip
Hip pain in athletes can occur under a wide variety of conditions, and can often be seen in endurance athletes. Common conditions that we treat about the hip include intraarticular hip pathology such as hip labrum tears, along with extraarticular hip pathologies such as greater trochanteric bursitis, IT band tightness, and proximal hamstring injuries.
