Objectives for this presentation are to enable you to understand:
How robotics enables the precise and reproducible positioning of implants, which can result in more safety, faster recovery, longer longevity of the implant free of revision, and less pain for patients.
How orthopedic robotics works, and differs from other forms of surgical robots and implant technologies.
What procedures are FDA approved for robotics, with indications and advantages of each procedure.
Identify who is a candidate for robotic joint replacement.
